My son and daughter-in-law gave me this as a present. It's a good idea as a present for a puzzle-minded person, but the difficulty of the puzzles is oddly variable. In general, the verbal puzzles, Crosswords, and Codewords, are fairly easy. Most of the numerical puzzles are straightforward, except for the Kakuro puzzles which, to date without exception, have been mind-bogglingly difficult. It looks as if the different kinds of puzzle have been sourced in different ways, which might account for the variabilility.But, basically, it's a good mixture of verbal and numerical puzzles of various kinds.

This was a gift for my daughter in law who loves brain teasers. She was thrilled to receive it and spent a great deal of time perusing it and quizzing all of us.
